VENUS Advanced Training (UK)

The data handling course focuses on the use of worklists combined with reading sample barcodes to track your samples with the end result being an output file summarising your sample transfers. Other advanced topics covered include:

Participation in a VENUS Basic Training course along with experience gained by applying the basic course knowledge (practice and deepen your basic knowledge first). Please note the third day is for completing the exercises and discussion of your own sample tracking requirements.

General computer skills

Adequate language skills in English
The training is ideal for anyone who has a ML STAR system and would like to implement sample tracking via barcodes into their methods.  Other advanced topics are covered but the main focus is on sample tracking.  
 
Give attendees the skills to go back to their own systems and implement sample tracking into their methods

Note that you need to organise and pay for your travel and stay. Lunch will be provided and you are invited to join us for a meal in the evening on the first day of the course. Check your account for further information after enrollment for a training course.
Training confirmation (Letter of Attendance) upon successful completion of a training course.
The course is a mixture of presentations, computer exercises and practical exercises. There is one hands on sessions regarding using Load and Match with barcoded tubes. 

The third day is for completing the sample tracking exercises and discussion of your sample tracking requirements.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: These courses are reserved for customers of the UK subsidiary. Others can register but will be placed on the waiting list and informed 2 weeks before the course if a place is available.

In case of too few participants (minimum 3) or due to other reasons, training dates may be changed or courses cancelled. In this case, you will be informed as soon as possible. HAMILTON does not cover any costs resulting from changed or cancellation of training dates.
Standard price for a 3 day advanced data handling course: 1,750 GBP per participant.

Discount may be available for customers on Premium Plus service contracts.

If you purchased your training  with a HAMILTON system, you need to provide the quotation or opportunity number for the system for enrolment in a training course.

To obtain a quote in advance of enrolment, please contact our HAMILTON Training Team.  Please specify the number of participants and the desired training course.  Alternatively, you can enrol without a quote. and will be able to ask for a quote as part of the enrolment process

A PO must be received by Hamilton before the training course starts.
